Delhi Woman Admits to Committing Welfare Fraud

Mocobizscene- The Delaware County District Attorney’s Office reports that 45-year-old Kellie Sanderson entered a guilty plea to third-degree welfare fraud.

According to the agency, Sanderson began submitting fake applications to the Department of Social Services on January 1, 2021, and neglected to mention her income. Up until February 27, 2022, this persisted.

She received $9,219 in overpayment for public benefits as a result.

The date of the final sentencing is March 4, 2024.
