Mocobizscene-Authorities are currently conducting an investigation following the discovery of a deceased individual in a lake located in Harbor City on Tuesday.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to a water rescue call at the Ken Malloy Harbor Regional Park around 4:10 p.m. However, upon arriving at the scene, they discovered that the individual in the lake was unresponsive.
Police were investigating the death at the park, which is situated in the 25900 block of S. Normandie Avenue. As a result, a portion of the park was cordoned off for further examination.
The reason for the person’s presence in the lake initially remains uncertain. The presence of Los Angeles Fire Department crews also supported the investigation.
