Mocobizscene- Officials reported that a 1-year-old girl was discovered deceased Friday morning near Los Angeles International Airport.
Just before 9:40 a.m., Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the intersection of West Century Boulevard and South Sepulveda Boulevard, in close proximity to the airport entrance, in response to a reported medical emergency.
When emergency personnel discovered the infant, she was unconscious and resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful.
At the site, the 1-year-old was pronounced dead, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department. Although the investigation into the incident is ongoing, police officials stated that “nothing nefarious” had been discovered as of Friday evening.
When the infant was discovered, police did not specify whether she was with family, guardians, or was alone.
