DC Police Currently Investigating Two Stabbings That Occurred Less Than A Mile Each Other

Mocobizscene- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is currently investigating two stabbings that occurred in the District on Wednesday, as reported by DC News Now.

In a post on the platform X at noon, MPD announced that officers were present in the 2400 block of Alabama Ave., SE due to a stabbing incident.

According to officials, a conscious and breathing adult man was reported as the victim. The call was received just before 11:45 a.m.

MPD made another post at 12:20 p.m., informing that officers are currently investigating a stabbing incident in the 2900 block of Knox Pl., SE. This incident occurred less than a mile away from the previous stabbing location.

There was no lookout issued by the police for either of the stabbing incidents, and it remains unclear whether or not the two incidents are connected.
