Mocobizscene- Three separate incidents occurred on the 101 Freeway southbound at Van Nuys Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, due to heavy rainfall. The standing water on the road caused multiple vehicles to collide and spin out.
A dash cam captures the moment when a black sedan loses control and hydroplanes on the southbound 101 Freeway, right before the Van Nuys exit.
The California Highway Patrol reported that six vehicles spun out and were involved in minor collisions at Van Nuys. Shortly after holding traffic on the 101 Freeway, the CHP arrived and successfully cleared all vehicles.
