A homicide occurred on Saturday in Bellflower, where a man was fatally shot and the perpetrator is currently at large.
At around 1:22 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a call about a shooting incident in the 9000 block of Artesia Boulevard, situated east of Lakewood Boulevard and south of the Artesia Freeway (91). Homicide Lieutenant Michael Gomez reported that upon arrival, the victim was found with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
A man aged between 40 to 50 years was declared dead at the location, according to reports. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed yet.
