Authorities seized nearly 14,000 fentanyl pills in drug operation in Prince George’s County

Riverdale: Police say that nine individuals are indicted about a significant drug raid in Riverdale.

The nine individuals were apprehended and accused by the Prince George’s County Police Department concerning the retrieval of over fourteen thousand fentanyl pills and several firearms from a residence in Riverdale.

After investigating, detectives obtained a search warrant for the Hamilton Street apartment. 

A residence search on January 18 resulted in the discovery of 13,825 fentanyl pills, cocaine, and three firearms by investigators. Nine suspects who were present in the apartment at the time of their apprehension were apprehended by detectives:

  • 31-year-old Sean Floyd of Bladensburg
  • 31-year-old Steven Abdul Johnson of Greenbelt
  • 30-year-old Francisco Orellana of Riverdale
  • 22-year-old Antonio Sanchez-Ramirez of Riverdale
  • 28-year-old Javier Reyes-Guzman of Hyattsville
  • 33-year-old Fernando Guzman of Glen Burnie
  • 22-year-old Marbin Hernandez-Alavarez of Riverdale
  • 20-year-old Erick Rivera-Arguera of no fixed address
  • 22-year-old Walter Flores-Mejia of Riverdale

Twenty-two-year-old Walter Flores-Mejia of the Riverdale Police Department states that each of the suspects is charged with numerous drug-related and firearms-related offences. The Department of Corrections has taken those suspected into custody.
