Mocobizscene- Newark Police are currently on the lookout for two suspects who were involved in an assault and robbery on January 21, 2024. The incident occurred around 5:45 a.m. in the vicinity of Abington Avenue, specifically in the 400 block of N. 12th Street.
The initial suspect is approximately 5’5″ in height and has a slender physique. During the incident, the suspect was clothed in a dark-colored jacket and wore a face mask. The second suspect, who also possesses a lean build, was attired in dark-colored attire and also had a face mask on.
Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is urging individuals who have any information regarding the suspects or the vehicle involved to reach out to the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Rest assured that all tips received through the Crime Stopper line will be treated as confidential and may even be eligible for a reward.
