ATM Thefts Occur At Washington DC 7-Eleven Stores Through Forceful Break-Ins

Mocobizscene-  Overnight, thieves allegedly breached automatic teller machines at two 7-Eleven locations in Washington, D.C. and stole the currency from within.

At approximately 2:40 a.m., police were dispatched to the 3200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, where they reported that four suspects wearing masks pryed open the ATM with an instrument and removed the currency canisters. They escaped in a BMW of a somber hue.

An hour earlier, a comparable occurrence was documented at a retail establishment located in the 3700 block of 12th Street. Two suspects, according to the police, used a crowbar to pry open the machine and steal its components before escaping in a vehicle.

There were no injuries reported. An investigation is presently ongoing.
