An arrest has been made in connection with a murder that occurred in Cypress Hills on Friday, according to authorities. Raul Hernandez, 61, has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, according to police.
When the officers arrived at the intersection of Jamaica Avenue and Cleveland Street, they were responding to a call about an assault. At the scene, they discovered a man who had suffered head trauma. The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but unfortunately, they later passed away.
