18-year-old woman evades police in Miami, crashes stolen car, according to records

Mocobizscene-An 18-year-old woman, who was driving without a license, caused a car crash in Miami that injured five people after she refused to comply with a traffic stop and fled from police officers, as reported by the authorities.

Genesis Bardales has been held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center since January 15th. As of now, she has two ongoing cases and recently made an appearance in the bond court of Miami-Dade County on Thursday. According to the police, Bardales was driving a stolen white 2019 Hyundai. She was speeding in the northbound direction and proceeded to run a red traffic light.

According to an arrest report, a three-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Northwest Second Avenue and 54 Street around 4:10 p.m. on January 14. Bardales has been charged with two counts of reckless driving causing bodily injury and one count of grand theft of a vehicle. Additionally, she is currently being held by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
