18-Year-Old Accused of Attempted Murder in New Orleans

Mocobizscene- All individuals are considered innocent until proven guilty. An 18-year-old was taken into custody on Wednesday, December 13, and is facing charges of attempted first-degree murder.

The Violet Offender’s Warrant Squad of the New Orleans Police Department apprehended Tali Riley as they were executing an arrest warrant in the 8300 block of Apricot Street.

According to the NOPD, Riley was being sought in connection with a shooting incident on November 5th. The shooting took place in the 4300 block of South Carrolton Avenue and resulted in severe injuries to a 19-year-old individual.

Officers also found multiple weapons, ammunition, and more than 1.3 pounds of marijuana during Riley’s arrest.
