A teenager was taken into custody on Tuesday by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) in connection with an armed robbery incident that occurred on November 16th in Northeast, D.C.
At approximately 3:50 p.m. that day, a suspect approached an individual in the 500 block of 55th St., N.E. Armed with a gun, the teenager demanded the victim’s phone. The victim, complying with the demand, handed over their phone. The suspect quickly fled the scene with the stolen device.
A young boy from Northeast, D.C. was taken into custody and accused of committing armed robbery (gun) almost two weeks after the incident.
