Abbott calls on Americans to ensure border security by reinstating Trump into the White House

Texas Governor Greg Abbott made an appeal on Wednesday night urging Americans to take necessary measures to secure the border. He suggested that returning former President Donald Trump to the White House as president would be the solution.

Governor Abbott expressed his endorsement for Donald J. Trump as the ideal presidential candidate for America, citing the importance of having a leader who can effectively secure the border, especially as he leads the biggest border state.

According to him, the primary responsibility of the President is to safeguard the nation, and President Trump fulfilled that role by ensuring a secure border. During his tenure, illegal border crossings were at their lowest in nearly four decades.

“On the contrary, Joe Biden neglected his responsibility by dismantling President Trump’s policies on his very first day in office. As a consequence, the outcome has been disastrous.”

According to The Center Square’s report, over 12 million individuals have illegally crossed the U.S. border during Biden’s term. Among them, two million were able to evade capture and are referred to as “gotaways.”

Since Biden’s presidency, the number of individuals who have been caught entering the United States illegally exceeds the population of 44 states and 155 countries.

According to a report by The Center Square, over 205,000 individuals illegally entered the United States last month. This brings the total number of illegal entries to over 2.4 million in fiscal year 2024 through June, with the northern border apprehensions setting yet another record.

According to Abbott, rapists, murderers, and terrorists have been allowed into the US under President Biden’s administration, resulting in tragic consequences. He specifically mentioned the case of 12-year-old Jocelyn from Houston, who was raped and murdered by two Venezuelans. These individuals were released into the country through a parole program initiated by Alejandro Mayorkas, the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

According to a report by The Center Square, Mayorkas’ parole programs have been connected to violent crimes committed against Americans by criminals who were released into the country.

A heartbreaking incident was shared by a Maryland resident on Tuesday night. Michael Morin shared the tragic story of his sister, Rachel, who was raped and strangled to death by a Salvadoran national who was in the country illegally. Morin believes that Rachel’s death could have been prevented. The perpetrator had already killed a woman in his home country before entering the United States unlawfully. Morin blames Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for opening the borders and empowering criminals like the one who killed his sister to victimize innocent people. Despite the tragedy, Biden and Harris have yet to make a public apology or take responsibility for their actions.

After Rachel’s death, President Trump personally reached out to my family to express his condolences. He even went a step further by requesting a meeting with us. This showed us that he truly cared, and it is a testament to his leadership qualities. As we approach the next election, we need to elect a leader who demonstrates the same level of empathy and compassion. It’s time for real leadership to return to the White House.

According to Abbott, Biden is putting up a strong resistance to prevent Texas and other Republican states from safeguarding their borders. Texas has taken legal action against the Biden administration over 75 times now, with a significant number of lawsuits pertaining to border security.

In 2021, Abbott took the initiative to send Texas National Guard troops to the border and launched Operation Lone Star, which he believes is necessary since the president has refused to take action. To support this mission, the Texas legislature has allocated nearly $12 billion, a significantly higher amount than several state fiscal year budgets. Interestingly, this amount also exceeds the Trump administration’s allocation for federal border security efforts in Texas, according to The Center Square’s report.

Between March 2021 and the end of June of this year, the OLS officers have captured approximately 515,000 individuals who attempted to cross the border illegally and have successfully made over 44,600 arrests for criminal offenses. Shockingly, there have been over 38,900 felony charges reported. In addition to these incredible statistics, the OLS has confiscated more than 504 million lethal doses of fentanyl. This amount is enough to kill every person living in both the United States and Mexico combined.

When Texas constructed hundreds of miles of razor wire to curb illegal crossings, the president issued an order to cut and remove the wires, and sued Texas to halt their construction. In retaliation, Abbott commanded the National Guard to erect triple the amount of razor wire barriers. Currently, various border lawsuits, including the one regarding the razor wire barriers, are awaiting a verdict in federal court.

According to Abbott, when the President seized 50 acres of Texas border property to unlawfully process up to 5,000 illegal foreign nationals every day and release them into the United States, he responded by instructing the Texas National Guard to reclaim the land and barricade it. As a result, the number of illegal border crossings has been reduced to an average of one per day.

Abbott stated that since the president and “border czar” Harris declined to visit Texas and witness the border crisis they caused, he decided to bring the border to them. He accomplished this by transporting illegal border crossers to Washington, D.C. and sanctuary cities across the country. Abbott affirmed that he will continue to transport these individuals until the border is secure. He declared, “Those buses will continue to roll.”

As per the governor’s office latest data, around 120,000 foreign nationals who entered Texas illegally have been transported to six different cities through buses.

According to Abbott, there is a silver lining in the future. He confidently stated that Joe Biden will be replaced by Donald Trump as the President of the United States of America on November 5. Abbott believes that Trump’s leadership will bring back order at the border and eliminate crime and chaos from the streets.
