Wetumpka Police Looking For Assistance In A Theft Case

A business burglary and felony larceny are under investigation by the Wetumpka Police Department, which requests the public’s assistance in identifying the two suspects.

Two unidentified suspects were photographed and made available to Central Alabama CrimeStoppers in connection with an investigation into felony larceny and burglary. It is alleged that the larceny transpired at a business situated in the 4000 block of U.S. Highway 231 on Thanksgiving Day.

“According to investigators, the pictured suspects—a white male and white female—arrived at the property in the pictured vehicle and gained access to multiple storage units using an unidentified type of cutting tool,” CrimeStoppers said in a press release. “After stealing property valued at over $20,000, the suspects fled the scene in the direction of U.S. Highway 231 in the north.”

The suspects are sought for first-degree theft of property, a Class B felony, and third-degree burglary, a Class C felony, according to CrimeStoppers.

CrimeStoppers of Central Alabama remains committed to combating larceny and is currently providing monetary compensation in exchange for the identification of the perpetrators.
