The NOPD is conducting an investigation into a gunshot that occurred in the South Market District near the 700 block of Loyola Avenue on Monday night shortly after 10 p.m.
Based on preliminary reports, an adult male was found to have received at least one gunshot wound; emergency medical services transported him to a nearby hospital.
