Montgomery authorities have charged two teenagers in connection with the tragic shooting that led to the death of a 16-year-old victim. The suspects are believed to have been involved in the incident, and law enforcement officials have taken swift action to hold them accountable for their alleged actions. The victim’s family and the community at large are undoubtedly still reeling from this senseless act of violence, and the charges against these individuals are an important step towards justice for all those affected.
According to Maj. Saba Coleman, a spokesperson for the Montgomery Police Department, said two young boys, aged 14 and 15, who are both from Montgomery, have been charged with reckless murder.
Today, they were apprehended and detained in the Montgomery County Detention Facility without the possibility of bond.
As previously reported by Action 8 News, the young individual, aged 16, was fatally shot in the region of West Edgemont Avenue on July 24th.
No further information has been given by the police at this time.
