Two persons were injured in unconnected shootings in Montgomery on Sunday

Two persons were hurt in unconnected shootings on Sunday, according to Montgomery police.

Montgomery police officers and fire medics discovered a woman who had been shot in the 5300 block of Roland Drive around 4:13 a.m. According to Maj. Saba Coleman, first responders transported her to the hospital for treatment.

Officers arrived at an area hospital at 8 p.m. to meet with a youngster who had been shot. Coleman stated in an email that they determined the incident occurred in the 8000 block of Vaughn Road.
