Mocobizscene-.Following an afternoon shooting in Montgomery on Tuesday, a suspect has been arrested.
MPD reports that Fire Medics and MPD responded to the 4000 block of Williams Road on Tuesday at approximately 4:30 p.m. in response to a reported shooting incident. Upon arriving at the scene, emergency personnel discovered a male adult victim who had suffered a potentially fatal gunshot wound.
For treatment, the victim was taken to a nearby hospital. According to MPD, the suspect was identified as 27-year-old Jadarius Russell, and Russell was then accused with first-degree assault.
Russell is presently being jailed on a $30,000 bond at the Montgomery County Detention Facility. According to the current investigation, no further information was disclosed.
