At least two people were killed, and several more were injured after a collision involving two automobiles and a street sweeper on Interstate 459 on Tuesday night, according to first responders.
According to state troopers, the accident occurred just after 8 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 459 South.
The interstate was closed overnight and into Wednesday morning but reopened before daybreak.
The details of what happened in the collision were not immediately published, but the Rocky Ridge Fire Department tweeted on social media Tuesday night that they were working the wreck, which featured “people trapped requiring multiple extrications along with fatalities.”
