MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — One man was shot and killed in an apartment in Silver Spring on Wednesday night. Police are still trying to figure out what happened in the murder case.
Around 9:50 p.m., police from the Montgomery County Department of Police were called to an apartment on Lockwood Drive, which is off New Hampshire Avenue. There had been a report of a shooting nearby. When they got there, they found a man inside the flat who had been shot several times.
The police tried to save the victim’s life until the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service came with medical help. The person was said to be dead at the scene. The victim’s age and name have not been made public, and neither has any other details about him.
At the moment, no one is in jail for the crime, and no information about possible suspects has been shared. The cops are trying to figure out why the shooting that killed someone happened.
