Montgomery police say a victim of a gunshot on Sunday night is taken in a vehicle to the hospital, where he dies.

According to the Montgomery Police Department, someone came at a hospital in a personal vehicle with a life-threatening gunshot wound on Sunday and ultimately died. The department did not divulge the victim’s age, gender, or any other information but stated that the incident is being investigated as a homicide.

Officers rushed to the hospital at 9:25 p.m. Sunday and located the gunshot in the 600 block of North Pass Road, according to an MPD announcement.

Other details concerning the shooting were not immediately released by police. They urged that anybody with information regarding the case contact CrimeStoppers at 334-215-STOP, Secret Witness at 334-625-4000, or the police at 334-625-2831.
