Montgomery, Alabama – Two separate midnight shootings in Montgomery are being investigated by the Montgomery Police Department.
The first incident occurred Monday around 11 p.m. in the 5100 block of Slash Pine Drive. Police and medics raced to the scene and discovered a woman with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. She was sent to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The second gunshot occurred around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, about two hours later. Police were called to a nearby hospital to speak with a man who had been shot. The injuries sustained by the victim were not life-threatening. The incident occurred in the 3300 block of McElvy Street. It was later determined.
In neither case has a motive or a suspect been discovered. The investigations are still ongoing.
