Police in Bessemer are seeking for a missing 20-year-old woman

BESSEMER, Ala. – The Bessemer Police Department said on Saturday that it is seeking the public’s help in locating a 20-year-old woman.

Mariah Katlynn Johnson was reported missing to the BPD by her family, according to the BPD. Her family informed police she has a disease that affects her decision-making and that she needs to take medicine. According to the BPD, she may be in the West End neighbourhood and was recently seen near Lomb Avenue in Birmingham.

Those with information concerning Johnson’s whereabouts are asked to contact the Birmingham Police Department’s dispatch at 205-425-2411 or its investigative section at 205-481-4366. You can remain anonymous by calling the BPD tipline at 205-428-3541.
