Flyers were sent around Alabama to promote a violent street takeover event

Police in Birmingham, Alabama, have issued a warning about a poster circulating that promotes a violent event scheduled for this weekend.

The flier, which has also been shared on social media, promises “police, fights, and interviews” as part of a takeover of City Walk.

Six young men’s photos and Instagram handles are also displayed as individuals who will be in attendance.

The Birmingham Police Department stated that they were aware of the unapproved events.

Parents were requested to keep their children away from the place specified on the fliers.

“We do not condone this event or the violence that is alluded to on the flyer,” the department said on Facebook.. “We need parents to help us by not dropping their kids off at the listed location or any other location unattended without your supervision.”

The agency promised to be ready to respond to any area to ensure everyone’s safety.
