Woman faces felony theft charges after failing to return car to dealership following test drive

According to WIVT/WBGH, a woman was taken into custody last week for reportedly stealing a car from a dealership.

According to a recent report on September 14th, a lady visited a car dealership, test drove a pre-owned car, but failed to return it.

At the dealership, Theresa Price, aged 48, had requested to have the vehicle inspected by her mechanic. However, she never returned after making the request.

According to the investigation, it was discovered that on September 15, the car was moving on Interstate 90, with Price behind the wheel. Later, both Price and the vehicle were located at a truck stop situated in the Town of Pembroke.

After being taken into custody, Price was faced with a serious charge of grand larceny in the third degree – a class D felony. She was then transported back to Richfield Springs for processing before being handed over to the Otsego County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
