On Friday, the man who is suspected of killing his girlfriend’s 2-year-old son was arraigned.
In August, the tragic death of 2-year-old Nasir Parris in Bergen Beach resulted in multiple charges against Latrell Lewis, including murder and manslaughter.
As per the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, Lewis was found guilty of pushing the young boy off a bed, resulting in him hitting his head on a vent on the ground. This caused severe harm to the child, and the incident was deemed a homicide. The details of the case are distressing, and it is a reminder of the importance of responsible care and protection for young children.
The medical inspector came to the conclusion that the child had been hit on the head and had other injuries that are consistent with being hit multiple times.
According to Lewis’ family, he has been wrongly accused of the allegations against him.
