Thursday morning, a cow was struck and killed on an interstate in DeKalb County

A cow was struck and killed at the Collinsville Exit in neighbouring DeKalb County early this morning (Thursday).

At around 6:20 p.m., a motorist called Alabama State Troopers to report the incident and used his vehicle’s flashers to keep others from hitting the animal in the road; there was no sign of the vehicle involved in the accident – and the case is still under investigation by State Troopers.
