GUNTERSVILLE, Alabama — A search has been going on near the Guntersville Dam by a number of police and rescue services.
A first responder on the scene told News 19 that a search had begun late Monday night on Lake Guntersville. Near the Guntersville Dam, you can see search teams and swimmers.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a teen who went missing.
The person who answered the call said that the search began again at 7 a.m. on Tuesday and has been going on all day. The U.S. Coast Guard is in charge of the probe.
News 19 has asked several agencies about this, but the officials haven’t said what the search is about yet. As we learn more, we’ll let you know on the air and online.
