HUNTSVILLE, Ala. The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has identified a man who was arrested on Friday in connection with a shooting along County Road.
In connection with the incident, HPD stated Tyron Ellison, 49, was arrested and charged with first-degree domestic violence assault.
According to the department, officers responded to the 1000 block of County Road shortly after 6 p.m. Friday in connection with the incident.
According to the department, one person on the scene was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries when cops arrived. According to HEMSI Spokesperson Don Webster, the patient was sent to Huntsville Hospital Trauma Services in critical condition.
According to HPD, the incident looked to be isolated.
