Authorities in Huntington Beach are currently searching for a gunman who shot at a vehicle in a Jack in the Box drive-thru on Sunday evening. Unfortunately, one person was hit by the gunfire.
According to a spokesperson from the Huntington Beach Police Department, law enforcement officials were dispatched to the restaurant located in the 16000 block of Beach Boulevard after receiving reports of a shooting just before 11 p.m.
Officers discovered an individual who had sustained a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening and promptly transported them to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
The footage displayed a red vehicle that had evidence markers surrounding it, which was brought to a halt at the drive-thru ordering section.
According to eyewitnesses, there was a commotion of gunshots and screams before the police arrived at the scene.
The police have yet to provide any description of the gunman, who is still at large.
The authorities are currently looking into the reason behind the shooting incident. As of the moment, the motive remains unknown and is still subject to investigation.
