The judge has handed down a 30-year prison sentence to a woman who was involved in a robbery that resulted in a fatality last year.
In a plea deal, Brianna Garcia has confessed to murder, armed robbery, and conspiracy in connection with the killing of Angel Varela.
The tragic incident occurred outside an apartment complex in Albuquerque, where Varela lost his life.
Upon investigation, it was determined by authorities that Garcia, along with two other individuals, had conspired to rob him.
The individual accused of being the gunman in this particular case is Bobby Lopez, who is currently awaiting his trial.
