According to authorities, a woman from Atlantic City was taken into custody for allegedly being in possession of heroin and a firearm while at a casino.
According to the Atlantic City Police Department, three officers who were on foot patrol on Friday night were stopped by security officers at Ocean Casino Resort. The security officers reported that a woman had entered a cab in the valet area and was in possession of a handgun.
According to reports, a female suspect was seen brandishing a firearm at the entrance of the premises. A witness claimed that she then left the scene and hailed a taxi.
At the time, a taxi was halted, and Jadairah James, who is 27 years old, was apprehended.
Upon conversing with James, law enforcement officers discovered a firearm that was loaded, 68 bags containing heroin, and extra ammunition at the back of the taxi.
