Jaiquan Allah, a resident of Albany who is now 26 years old, has been sentenced to 32 years to life imprisonment for a violent incident that took place in 2020 resulting in the death of William Hooks. After a quick jury decision, Allah was found guilty of second-degree murder, assault, and unlawful possession of a weapon. The unfortunate event, which involved the use of an illegal handgun, also caused harm to another individual.
