In Calhoun County, a woman is in jail because she is accused of killing a guy on Monday night.
At 10:15 p.m., a shooting was reported in the 2300 block of Adams Street, so Anniston police were sent there. Captain Matt Caballero said that when they got there, they found 39-year-old Jonathan Walter Golson dead from several gunshot wounds.
During the investigation, Weaver police officers talked to a person who might have been involved. Misty Lashea Hardy, who is 35 years old, has been charged with murder in Golson’s death. No other information has been made public.
Hardy was taken into custody on Tuesday and is still being held.
