Most Wanted in Calhoun County – July 19, 2023

Calhoun County, Alabama – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office puts out a “Most Wanted” list every week. An “FTA” means that a person missed a court date, but it does not necessarily mean that they are guilty of a crime. A “Probation Violation” happens when a person has been found guilty of a crime and put on probation. SORNA stands for the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act.

The Sheriff’s Office wants to remind everyone that they shouldn’t do anything on their own. Instead, they should call the Sheriff’s Office or local Police Department so that they can explore further. Sometimes a warrant is revoked, which means the person is no longer needed.
