The Selma Police Department is currently on the lookout for a suspect who is armed and considered to be dangerous. This individual is wanted for being involved in the 19th murder case of the year in the city. According to Police Chief Kenta Fulford, the latest homicide in the Queen City has led investigators to identify a suspect. Fulford stated that they have identified Mr. Tramaine Walter as a suspect and are currently on the lookout for him.
Walter stands accused of the shooting incident that led to the death of Jasmine Callens, a 32-year-old mother of five. The tragic event took place on September 12th on the 1500 block of Tremont Street. Jasmine’s children, whose ages range from 14 to 5 years old, are left to mourn the loss of their beloved mother.
According to Fulford, Walter is being sought after for two charges of capital murder. Walter’s past criminal record is marked with violent offenses, and authorities consider him to be a dangerous individual who may be armed.
According to Fulford, the search for Walter has escalated to the involvement of U.S. Marshals. He emphasizes the importance of the public’s cooperation in locating him as well.
