The reward for information regarding a fatal shooting in Montgomery has been increased to $2,500 after a year has passed since the incident.
The unfortunate incident took place on September 9th, 2022, at the Midtown Oaks Apartments located on Carter Hill Road, where Adarius “Lil D” Felder, a 24-year-old, lost his life. To this day, the identity of the shooter is still a mystery.
Montgomery City Council member Oronde Mitchell is stepping up to support the efforts to catch the culprit by contributing $1,000 to the existing $1,500 reward offered by Central Alabama CrimeStoppers. Mitchell’s contribution shows his commitment to keeping the community safe and sending a clear message that criminal activities will not be tolerated in Montgomery. The increased reward serves as a reminder that the authorities and the community are united in their efforts to bring the perpetrator to justice.
According to CrimeStoppers, Felder’s family is seeking the help of the public to find some answers.
