Authorities in New York City have reported that a 39-year-old man was discovered with gunshot wounds at 453 West 152nd Street. Following the incident, a neighbor was arrested and now faces several charges, including murder. The investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
At the location mentioned, an assault was reported to the police via 911 on March 7. Upon reaching the site, officials discovered that Ousmane Ag had sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen. Ag was immediately transported to Harlem Hospital, where he was later declared deceased.
After conducting a thorough investigation, authorities were able to apprehend Marquis Chappelle, who happens to be a resident of the same building where the victim was found deceased.
On September 5th at 2:12 PM, Chappelle was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon, and murder.
An arrest was carried out under the jurisdiction of the 30th Precinct. The details of the case are still being investigated.
