Thursday morning’s Birmingham murder victim has been identified

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –  Snir Lalum, 44, of Vestavia, has been identified as the person who was shot and killed in Birmingham on Thursday morning.

Officers were called to the Insta Movers business office early Thursday morning after receiving a report of a person shot. Officers arrived to find Lalum inactive in a warehouse bay with an apparent gunshot wound. Lalum was brought to UAB by Birmingham Fire & Rescue, where he died from his injuries.

According to preliminary investigations, an unknown man entered the business and began shooting at Lalum.

There is currently no one in custody.
