Attempted armed robbery at Fullerton jewelry store ends with security guard firing shots

Mocobizscene-  According to authorities, a security guard at a jewelry store in Fullerton took action by firing at three suspects who attempted to rob the establishment.

On Wednesday, around noon, an incident took place at Happy Jewelers situated in the 1500 block of South Harbor Boulevard. According to the police, three masked suspects emerged from a dark-colored sedan, brandishing what is believed to be handguns.

According to a statement from Fullerton Sgt. R. O’Neil, when the suspects approached the store, a security guard in uniform fired his weapon at them, prompting them to flee the scene. According to O’Neil, the security guard did not sustain any injuries during the incident. He stayed at the scene and is presently assisting the investigators.

According to the police, there have been no reports of anyone being hit by gunfire and there are no injuries to report. The security guard’s quick action at the jewelry store is being praised by the staff.

“He was planning to request a salary increase,” revealed the store owner, who chose not to appear on camera. “With the current circumstances, it would be difficult to turn him down.”h The suspects are still at large, and the police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
