Two Passengers Hospitalized after Suspect Fires Shots at Moving Train in Southern California

Mocobizscene-  Authorities reported that two individuals were taken to the hospital after a suspect discharged gunshots at a train in Southern California on Wednesday.

According to KTLA, a suspect opened fire on a Metrolink train as it was departing from the Palmdale station around 9:40 p.m. The train was en route to the Lancaster station.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Palmdale Station deputies responded and verified that a shooting had occurred in the surrounding area, but not on the train, according to Metrolink.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has reported that both injuries are non-life-threatening. The police are currently conducting an investigation into the shooting and actively searching for the suspect involved.
