Mocobizscene- Police in Park Slope are looking into the death of a man and woman from Brooklyn who were discovered dead early on Thursday. The incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide.
Just after one in the morning on Thursday, officers responded to a report at the apartment at 2nd Street and 5th Avenue and discovered two people, a 34-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, “unresponsive and unconscious,” according to law enforcement sources.
According to accounts, both victims suffered gunshot wounds to the head and were declared dead at the spot.
There was a gun next to the man’s body, and it looked like the man had hurt himself. Investigations into the concerning occurrence are still ongoing, according to law enforcement sources. The deceased people’s identities have not been made public until their families have been notified.
