NEW YORK CITY, NY: The New York City Police Department is asking for help in identifying the suspect in a robbery that happened at the Union Square subway station. The department is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
The incident involved a 28-year-old male victim and happened early on Monday, January 15, at around 2:20 am. The victim claimed that a male attacker who remained nameless came up behind him at the station and took his possessions.
After successfully stealing the victim’s rucksack, the assailant left the area on foot and vanished into thin air. Luckily, the robbery did not cause any injuries to the victim.
The suspect, a male about six feet tall with a medium complexion, has been described by the NYPD. His exact age, what he was wearing, or any other distinguishing characteristics have not been disclosed.
