Mocobizscene-Police in the District are currently investigating a shooting incident in Northwest that resulted in the death of a man. At approximately 4:30 a.m., the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) swiftly responded to reports of a shooting in the 1600 block of K St. NW.
The medics rushed him to the hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive.
Around 4:30 a.m., MPD swiftly responded to a car crash in close proximity to a coffee shop near 17th Street NW and L Street NW. In response, MPD referred to a previous statement stating that the incidents were being treated as separate events until further investigation.
