Houston man is now facing charges of murder after allegedly catching his wife cheating. A Houston man has been accused of killing his wife after reportedly discovering her infidelity. Crystal Lynch, a 35-year-old woman, was reported missing in May by her teenage daughter.
Marquise Glasper, aged 37, was taken into custody on Saturday and brought before the court. He is facing three serious charges, including murder, tampering with evidence related to a human corpse, and unlawful possession as a felon. In the past, Glasper has been convicted of aggravated robbery not once, but twice.
Authorities suspect that Glasper is responsible for shooting and killing his wife, but they have yet to find Lynch’s body. Crystal’s 16-year-old daughter informed the police about her stepfather’s suspicious behavior. According to her, Glasper had been using her mother’s phone.
According to an official statement made in court, the recipient of the texts noticed a difference in the writing style compared to her mother’s usual texts. She pointed out that her mother typically uses complete sentences, whereas the messages she was receiving were written in slang, similar to how her stepfather communicates via text.
According to HPD detectives, Glasper is believed to have shot and killed his wife after discovering her affair. According to a friend’s statement, Lynch had expressed his intentions of killing Glasper if she ever found out about something. During the investigation, detectives discovered that Glasper had been unaccounted for for several hours while his wife was missing.
Blood stain evidence was discovered inside Crystal’s silver Jeep during a police search. The judge has denied Glasper’s bond request, and he is scheduled to appear in court again on Monday.
