NEW YORK (WRGB) – The New York State Police have made public the names of the Troopers and the suspect who were involved in the shooting incident on Wednesday afternoon along I-87 in the Town of Ramapo.
Troopers Steven Missale and Ronald Raymond were driving southbound on the Thruway between exits 15 and 15A when they spotted a vehicle that resembled the description of a car involved in a shooting in Albany earlier that day, as per the police.
Missale and Raymond sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Westchester Medical Center. Fortunately, they have already been discharged from the hospital.
The State Police is currently conducting an ongoing investigation into the shooting incident on the Thruway or in Albany. If you possess any information regarding this incident, please contact 845-344-5300.
