14- And 16-Year-Old Girls Stabbed In Grand Central On Christmas

MIDTOWN, Manhattan– The MTA reports that two youths were stabbed on Christmas Day within the eating area of Grand Central Terminal.

At approximately 11:25 a.m., there was a stabbing. Sources claim that the girls, who were tourists and aged 14 and 16, were dining when the stabbing occurred.

“I want all the white people dead,” the suspect allegedly yelled to the girls, according to sources.

Authorities said that the suspect, 36-year-old Steven Hutcherson, was taken into custody in less than a minute following the stabbing incident.According to accounts, one girl was stabbed in the thigh and the other in the back. The two victims were brought to Bellevue/NYC Health + Hospitals.

Authorities said Hutcherson is facing charges of attempted murder, assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and endangering the welfare of a child.
