Suspect Arrested In Metairie For Carjacking

KENNER, Louisiana —On Tuesday night, Kenner police received a tip about a stolen car in the city thanks to the Flock camera system.

Officers arrived at the scene just after 10 p.m. and found the vehicle in Kenner’s 2600 block of Veterans Blvd. It was established that the vehicle was taken during a violent heist in Metairie.

Following his arrest, the driver—Dikiren Molett, 22, of Metairie—was accused of having many attachments and stolen property.

Molett’s probation for using a vehicle without authorization and eluding arrest is valid until May 2026. The armed robbery is under investigation by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s office.
