A juvenile was apprehended by officers from the Sixth District of the Metropolitan Police Department in connection with a larceny that occurred in Northeast on November 16, 2023. Reportedly, the suspect approached the victim, brandished a firearm, and demanded the victim’s mobile phone, which was subsequently handed over to him.
On November 28, 2023, the suspect, a 17-year-old male from Northeast, DC, was arrested. The charge against him is armed robbery (gun-related). In the vicinity of the 500 block of 55th Street Northeast, the robbery occurred. Following the theft of the victim’s mobile phone, the assailant fled the location.
